Muck for the Ducks Neighbors Weekend!

Saturday November 4th

10:30 am - Martin Plaza Park

Muck for the Ducks is back!! Please join your neighbors and bring your whole family to Martin Plaza Park at 10:30 am Saturday, Novembr 4. Be ready to get dirty cleaning up the the lake, lakeshore and grounds. We may also spread out to clean trash from other common areas in our neighborhood.

Items to bring include work gloves, work boots, hunting waders (if you plan to get in the water) and other tools to pick up trash. Mosquito repellent is a good idea as well.

Yard hoses will be available in the front yard of Steve and Linda Hanger's home across the street from the park to rinse your waders and boots. Everyone can be helpful, even if you can’t get into the lake! We expect to be done in about an hour. 

12:00 pm - Chili Lunch at 2105 Ellingham

Immediately following the park clean up we will join together for lunch on the 2100 block of Ellingham. Chili will be provided - Bring your own toppings, something to share and drink of choice.

Please join us for lunch even if you can't make the park clean up!!

Sunday November 5th

10:30/10:45 am - First Christian Church

Please join with your neighbors for a very special occasion as we gather for thanksgiving, worship and asking God’s blessing on our families and community. We will meet outside the entrance of First Christian Church at 10:30 am. Look for the neighborhood yard sign.

Service starts at 10:45 and finishes around 11:45. Don’t worry, we hope to attend our other neighborhood churches in future gatherings. What a powerful tradition this could be!
