Muck for the Ducks Neighbors Weekend!

On Saturday November 4th at 10:30 am, we will gather at Martin Plaza Park to clean the park and pond. This will be immediately followed by a Potluck Lunch at 2105 Ellingham.  

We will continue our Muck for the Ducks Neighbors Weekend with a special blessing for our neighborhood from Dr. Mark Bender at First Christian Church on Sunday Morning November 5th.

Martin Circle Christmas Decorations and Hot Chocolate Social

We have received approval from the City to decorate Martin Circle for Christmas!  The trolley operators who tour our neighborhood have also agreed to pitch in.  If you would like to help decorate Martin Circle, please reach out to Whitney Flack at [email protected]

We will celebrate the decorations with a Hot Chocolate Social at Martin Circle on Sunday December 3rd

Harrison-Speedway Fountain Update

We have engaged a landscape architect to begin plans for the Harrison-Speedway Fountain.  This important project will take time to put together well, and will require meaningful financial support from all of us in the nieghborhood.  We hope to bring you updates on the progress, including preliminary designs, in the coming months. 

Funding and Fundraising

While the Fountain Project will require significant funds in the future, we have need now for all members to make their recommended dues payment of at least $50.  All the events and work to pull us together come with costs and everyone pitching in will make this a more sustainable and long-term endeavor.
